Nodes are color-coded according to the political orientation of the post opening the discussion thread: left, right, far right, and neutral. The width of the edges (links) is proportional to the number of users active in discussion threads belonging to both endpoint discussions. A darker edge color indicates that the number of users commenting both endpoint discussion threads is higher than predicted by modelling the number of users active in both discussions and the time difference between the first posts of the two endpoint threads. Instead a yellow edge indicates that the number of users commenting both threads is slightly lower than expected.
